Sometimes I make food that is too dry, or resembles sand. I run slowly and lift baby weights. I can’t keep my eyes open past 11:30 on most nights. I enjoy planning every hour of my day. I prefer to wear running clothes and flip flops more than anything else and I’m quite content reading a really good book with a can of seltzer or iced coffee.
But sometimes I make really yummy, healthy and creative food that everyone enjoys. Occasionally, I run races at a faster pace than I ever thought possible (and I am registered for the Philadelphia Marathon! Eeek!). I always enjoy planning my days out and I think that there is no better way to start the day than getting up early. Going to bed early is perfect for me, but some nights, I love doing the college thang at the bars or out with friends.
When I’m not sleeping, eating, studying, and working (the majority of my time), you can find me trying new workouts or enjoying a long run; baking things with secret healthy ingredients; spending time with my incredible boyfriend, Russ; cooking new foods; sitting in my kitchen, talking to my family; hanging out with friends; or on here- sharing it all with the world.
I started this blog with the intention for it to be a food and fitness blog, but it has since morphed into a place for me to write about all of the journeys that I embark on as a college student, living right outside of Philadelphia. Of course, food and fitness are a part of that, but you’ll see a little bit of everything here.
